The winter training skill sessions are focused around skill and technique development.
Technique development refers to the ability to perform specific technical skills and movements such as hitting, receiving and running with the ball at pace.
Specific technical training provides the player with smooth, efficient movements and the ability to perform at a higher tempo with precision and success.
We at RUSH offer high tempo, intense training methods. We teach proper skill (hand and stick), as well as, efficient hockey related movements (body position) in each session. We teach players how to train at tempo, be confident and play competitively.

SESSION PLACEMENT POLICY
The RUSH administrative team and coaches have met in regards to "session placement" and in keeping a policy that is most fair, consistent and reasonable for all players participating in the RUSH program. When registering for RUSH sessions please abide by the session placement policy and criteria. Our policy states that players participating in the RUSH program must register to the session for which they played for during the High School or Middle School REGULAR SEASON GAMES regardless of post season/tournament play. Therefore, your assigned RUSH session is determined by the team (JV, Varsity, Middle School) each player has played for during the regular season in the most current season.
Session Clarification Key:
Middle School - You have played for a Middle School Team.
JV - You have played all regular season games on a Junior Varsity Team regardless of post season or tournament play.
Varsity - You have played all regular season games on a Varsity Team.
College Bound - You are a High School Senior who has committed to play for a College or University Team.
